By accessing or using CookBid ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
CookBid aggregates restaurant equipment auction listings from third-party auction houses (including TAGeX Brands, Rasmus Auctions, PCI Auctions, and Bidspotter). We provide search, filtering, saved searches, and alert features. We are not an auction house — we do not facilitate bidding, payments, or item delivery. All transactions occur directly between the user and the auction house.
To access certain features (saved searches, alerts), you must register an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You must provide accurate, current information. Accounts found to be fraudulent or used for abusive purposes may be terminated without notice.
CookBid offers a free tier with limited features and paid subscription tiers (Pro, Enterprise) with additional functionality. Subscription fees are billed monthly and are non-refundable except as required by applicable law. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
Auction listings are scraped from third-party sources and may contain errors, omissions, or outdated information. We make no guarantees about accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of auction data. Always verify details directly with the auction house before bidding.
CookBid is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any losses, damages, or costs arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to failed bids, missed auctions, incorrect pricing, or reliance on scraped data. In no event shall our liability exceed the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

The Service contains links to external auction house websites. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or security of those sites. Your interactions with auction houses are solely between you and them.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, including for violation of these terms. Upon termination, your data may be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
These terms are governed by the laws of Portugal. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Portugal.
